The Buyer/ GT Analyst I  is a professional responsible for demand validation, purchase order creation and management , coordinate global trade procurement initiatives, assure trade compliance within the supply chain team and continually monitor and correct any deviation in conjunction with the GT team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and manage Purchase Orders in accordance to contractual requirement

• Expedite material as needed; negotiate and manage changes within the supply base through the Change Board process

• Interface with Supplier Quality personnel to ensure supplier performance

• Support the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) process

• Create/submit/approve requests in xClass                                  

• Create and submit requests to export technical data via the TEXPORT tool   

• Ensure compliant technical data transfers

• Support PO/SO/DWR creation

• Review blocked PO/SO/DWR import report on a daily basis and work with GT team to clear these out

• Review forecasted parts report to identify unclassified parts for HS/JC and record these in xClass

• Submit GTS workflows

• Assist with 3201 forms as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Developed professional able to work with minimum guidance

• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

• Understanding of the Supply Chain Sales, Inventory and Planning (SIOP) process

• Can identify risks that affect supply and delivery

• Understands the basic tools in project management (SOW, WBS, responsibility matrix, change management, resource management, scheduling) to follow up supplier deliverables

• Effectively uses root cause analysis for problem solving

• Possess excellent problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multi task.

• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization

• SAP and MRP experience.

• Excellent negotiating skills
